This meeting was organised following the successful conference Chemical Sensors and Biochemical Sensors – Measurement to Control held by the AAMG in May 2009. The 2010 conference addressed the state of the art and recent developments in sensor technologies, with a focus on environmental monitoring. The interest and use of sensing techniques in environmental monitoring had grown rapidly in recent years enhanced by the potential for automation and remote at-site measurements with low costnmethodologies and miniature instrumentation. This year opportunities were provided for postgraduate PhD students and young postdoctoral researchers to give oral and poster presentations related to the theme of the conference. The Conference offered a good opportunity to bring together scientists involved in the field to exchange experiences and thoughts about new applications and novel sensors. The conference presentations were accompanied by poster presentations and an exhibition.
The conference booklet, which includes a complete programme and a full set of abstracts, may be downloaded using the link below.
